All our jewellery is made from 100% recycled 925 sterling silver. Over time silver can tarnish, also known as oxidation, which is caused when oxygen or sulfur comes in contact with sterling silver, giving it a darker colour. This is not a mark of low quality metal.
We recommend removing your Black & Grace jewellery before exercising, using cleaning products, swimming or applying perfume to keep it in its best condition.
Tarnish can be easily removed with a polishing cloth or by soaking your piece in soapy warm water and buffing with a soft toothbrush.

Seaglass is porous, so over time it may slightly change shape causing it to become loose in it’s setting. For this reason, avoid putting seaglass pieces in contact with water.

Items of jewellery containing more than 7.78g of silver or 1g of gold legally require hallmarking. Most of our products are not hallmarked as they fall below this requirement, however when necessary, our jewellery is hallmarked at the London Assay Office.
